Privacy policy

Depending on how you use the site, we may process contact details, order information, payment status, technical information and product images you select.

We use information to operate the website and cart, initiate payments, fulfil orders, answer questions, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.

Payment details are securely processed by Stripe; MemoraBelle does not receive complete card or bank details. Before checkout, the cart and selected images are held locally in your browser. At checkout, order details and images are securely sent to our order database and linked to a unique order number. Local browser data is removed after a successful order.

We do not retain information longer than required for its purpose and legal obligations. You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability by emailing admin@memorabelle.com. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority.

Paid order and invoice records are retained for seven years for Dutch tax administration. Uploaded product images are deleted no later than 30 days after dispatch, cancellation or refund. Data and images belonging to an unpaid, abandoned order are deleted after seven days. Customer-service messages are retained for no more than two years unless an ongoing dispute or legal duty requires longer retention.

We use Hostinger for website hosting, MySQL order storage and email, and Stripe for payment processing. These providers process only the information needed to deliver their services and operate under their respective security and privacy terms.

We process order, contact and image information because it is necessary to perform the purchase agreement. Tax records are processed and retained to meet legal obligations. Security, fraud prevention and customer service may rely on our legitimate interests.

Where a provider processes information outside the European Economic Area, appropriate transfer mechanisms and safeguards must be used.

MemoraBelle does not use analytics or marketing cookies. The website uses only necessary local browser storage to remember your language, cart and selected photographs during ordering. Stripe may use necessary technologies on its secure payment page under Stripe's privacy and cookie policies.
